glow plug relay test
can someone tell me how to test the glow plug relay. I just bought a multimeter but im not sure how to test it. I want to fix it today if this is the problem thanks Jeff

Using the D.C. voltage scale (may show up as "V --"), measure across the two small terminals and you should read a DC voltage with the ignition switch ON, motor OFF. Then you should ground the black lead and measure the two big terminals with the red lead, they should both be around 12V. If you have voltage across the two small terminals and just one of the big termenals, the relay is bad. I took my bad relay apart and found that the contacts inside arc open due to the current being used by the glow plugs.
