Use Dicor self leveling for horizontal surfaces and Dicor non leveling for vertical surfaces.

I used Dicor and Eternabond 3 years ago when I repaired a leaking skylight. So far it has not lifted, but I spent the majority of the my total repair time cleaning the area. As with anything prep is the key.

It was mentioned earlier in this thread, Eternabond must have a pretty clean surface. The original instructions are to use Lacquer thinner, dry, and then put it on with pressure, LOTS OF PRESSURE as that is the REAL activation of the adhesive. I would not suggest using laquer thinner on EPDM or any type of Rubber roof. Heat is not the answer, but Pressure. I have used it for several years and the key is a very small roller, running it slowly over the damaged, taped, area. Do it many times and take your time. Do not install long strips but areas of no more than 2 feet. That is so you can manage the area with pressure. I have yet to have the tape come off, ride up or get caught in the wind. My front cap is eternabond taped and never an issue. Now I say that, the next trip it will probably fly off! I also use Dicor, its a great product and will seal smaller holes, but if you keep putting Dicor on top of Dicor, you will have a mountain. Dicor also needs a little time before it gets wet. So don't put it on in a rain or damp time. It is self leveling. I have seen some caulk at Home Depot and Lowes that claim self leveling. It is not the same stuff. Go to RV store or Amazon or Ebay. Also there is Dicor for horizontal and one for vertical surfaces, make sure you get the right stuff for the application. Dicor runs anywhere from 8 bucks to 11 bucks a tube and you can go thru a lot in just a little bit. I always carry 2 tubes when I travel and it has saved me more than once.
