Rut-Roh. Shawn, I had the same problem with Black. Do you notice any spray on your hood or degas bottle? If you've blown the head gaskets, you'll start getting that.
That was where I was going with it. It almost sounds like a small head gasket leak which could explain why the coolant is taking so long to show low.
Would have been nice if International would have put the same amount of head bolts on the 6.0 as they did the 7.3. Oh, and also deck the heads so they would be perfectly flat!!

You'll also want to get the heads decked. They were never machined to a perfectly flat surface from International, and part of the reason for blowing the head gaskets, is that the bolts are having to pull the head down flat, instead of just holding it down.

yup.. was part of the plan if i pulled them too... i got a neighbor i can pay in beer to do it
while i was at it since id have the stronger studs was figuring id delete the EGR too...
