lol that was the story of my life of my truck for the longest time, knew where all the leaks are just to darn lazy to ever fix them, did fix the oil leak and the leaking radiator but have yet to fix the leaking tranny. Thats a simple fix just gotta pull the shifter and the floor hump and replace them rubber plugs on the back of the shifter housing. Kinda crazy that that little sensor was clogged up so badly though.

yep.. but heard its common for them to get that way...

yeah the oil leaks escaping where the glowplug harness goes through the valve cover... seals around the boots have gone bad in the back letting the oil just run out... cant complain though... 2 qts 5000 miles... ive got not a clue where that coolants going.. its not showing up in the oil.. not on the ground either... and its not coming out the exhaust burnt or otherwise... cant figure it out...

I need to drop the tranny in the mustang sometime this winter... the input shaft seals just letting the tranny fluid pour out of it...

Thats not to bad of a leak, I used to lose 1 quart every 500 miles or so give or take but that was mix of a bad valve cover gasket and a leaking oil line going to a mechanic oil pressure gauge. Fixed both of those towards the end of the summer and the rad I had replaced I think around December of last year. Not good to let it poor out of a stang like that, could mean disaster if you aren't careful.

lol sounds like my s10... couldnt keep the rear main seal intact on that thing... lol... nor the front oil pan seal... parking nose downhill.. big no no... lol

yeah i hope to get it fixed when the ground hardens this winter and the rains is not so much... weve had a wet summer.. and fall.. grounds just saturated... need to figure out how to get it high enough to drop it.

way i found that out was that 3 trips ago i was out running around in the stang.. noticed 5th was making quite a bit of clatter going down the road.. 3rd and 2nd were being a bitch to get into... which was odd... and 1-4 were all howling on accel.. so something wasnt right... drove it straight home... pull the shifter linkage... bone dry... found that odd seeing as factory filled them completely full... pull the fill and drain plugs.. nothing... went out and got 4 qts of royal purple ATF... dumped an open bottle i had (3/4qt left i mainly used for topping off the power steering) of valvoline ATF into to clean the strawberry milky fluid that was hiding in it out... then dumped the Royal purple into her... seemed happier again.. much quieter lol.. but noticed she was leaving .50 piece sized puddles after that when id stop at stores or work.. so shes been sitting next to the house ever since... itll be my winter project...

Sorry for just kinda going up and missing, I ended up going and getting another laptop to fix for a guy and ended up shooting the breeze about cars with him for a few hours. Shoot that's a huge leak, mine only leaks while driving and it leaks maybe enough to leave a small little spot if its given the chance to idle a few minutes but really it loses so little I just check it once a month or so and if it is still full I don't even worry about it.

Need to stop being a nightcrawler on the weekends it kills what little sleep i do get during the work week. Stay safe have fun and don't be like me and chase a laser dot around when you're bored.
