4x4 hubs
i need help..i installed all new front parts a month ago..new wheel bearings,upper an lower ball joints..new u joints on axel..and did both seals on axels on hub side and shaft side..i had 2 bad 4x4 lockings hubs..one seized and 1 plastic cracked..it was just a money issue..i finally put on the new hubs yesterday and and when i engaged the system..it seems to lock and work fine just riding arud my front lawn..but the problem i have is the driver side keeps jumping out when i disengage and go for a ride arud the block in auto...i did grease the heck out of them..i thot i did seat the new ring to hold the locking hub into the wheel hub..but now it happened again..did is miss a step or just too much grease?? any help wud b great..also is there a way to check if the axel needs to go in more so the 4x4 lock can have more depth to seat the new holder ring ?? anyone have this problem?? any help or suggestions wud b great as im losing my patients..
