Cab Clearance Lights
Looking to get these lights for my Ex, Can you just tap into the wires in the overhead console, or do you have to run wires to the switch?

It depends on when you want you lights to come on. Power goes to the console as soon as you turn the truck on. This would always have you lights on when the truck in on. If you want them to come on with you lights, then run the wires and tap into that circuit.

The overhead console cannot support the lighting requirements required by the clearance lights. I got the factory wiring harness (without overhead console for a SD P/U). I just ziptied it to the existing harness and hooked into the parking light wire I ran for the factory lighted tow mirrors. very easy.
