That's only true if the PCM knows the sensor is bad, like when it has an electrical fault. If the sensor is biased, it will probably still trust the reading.
True. That is why I said the sensor is at least operational if the idle changes. It may be biased, but it could still "work".
Before I changed the sensor the old one was not letting me go past 50mph now it jus stumbles when I first start it up but as it warms up ses light comes on then it runs better word this really chaps my ***
Agh... you'll want to pull the chip and get back to pure PCM. This could be as simple as a bad connection on the chip. It sounds like the ICP sensor did help, though.
