ICP sensor

Would this sensor be considered bad if I found oil in the electrical connection ? It triped the SES light when I disconnected it and started it. Pluged it back and the light went off. Thanks, Bill

No, its not bad yet, if your truck is running fine that is. The oil in the sensor can short it out, you can clean it out but it'll go bad eventually, there's an o ring that goes bad. By unplugging it your pcm reverts to default parameters and trips the ses light.

Mine was leaking oil for 2 years. When I replaced it finally I also had to replace the pigtail due to it having oil in plug and wires.
