Turn Signal and Seat Belt Kit Question

Turn Signal and Seat Belt Kit Question
So I'm getting closer and closer to finally getting my truck on the road and my last step seems to be turn signals and seat belts. So my plan is to convert the park lights into turn signals. My truck, a 54 F250, had, at one point, the turn signals mounted on the front fenders. Does anyone have a wiring diagram or any more info on wiring turn signals, especially to the rear ones, (there is no wiring that goes to the back except the wiring I plumbed myself, and the stuff that hooks up to the brake switch and the fuel sender) I have the brake lights in back working, and most of the rest of the wiring, except for the stuff coming down from the turn signal switch, appears to be stock with the cloth insulation. I have a test light but I'm really not sure what to be looking for, and my dad, who's much more familiar with this stuff, thinks the current wiring setup (that we assume is being used) is really weird and neither of us can get heads nor tails of it. My last question is about the midfifty shoulder belt mounts. Has anyone used these? If so, how did you mount them to the cab? I get where they mount, but which sides, if any, go behind or on top of their respective reinforcement bar deals, every way I've tried mocking them up is going to take a little tweaking, but I just want to know which way works/looks best before I start bending these mounts.

The shoulder belt mounts from Mid Fifty are for a 53-56, so may need adjusting for F1 cab or get a set from Classic Haulers, MF's "sister" company (they are each owned by two sisters) that specializes in the bonus built trucks. They should go behind the door frame and brace and be welded or bolted.

My truck is a 1954 F250, I thought I mentioned that in my first message, maybe not. But anyways, my concern is whether the plate goes on top of both the door and window frame, under, or a combination of the two. It doesn't fit really well any of the ways I've tried so I wanted to know if I was missing something or what was intended before I bent the thing to fit. It didn't come with instructions and I just want to know what I'm trying to do before I go into this. Sorry for any confusion.

They have the instructions on their website. Looks like they can be welded or bolted into place, unlike the ones from Classic Haulers for the 48-52, which have to be welded.

I got the dual filament sockets and pigtails from midfifty, I'll try to get some pictures tonight of what my current setup is as I won't be able to see my truck until then. It just seems more complicated than just running wires from the turn signal to the pigtails, especially with the taillights, which has to do something with the brake switch as well.. Oh, and the park lights don't come on either right now, but I think that's because the sockets are all rusted and messed up. I really hope that wiring isn't too mangled..

I didn't get a chance to get to the shop tonight, but this steering column looks like it has the same setup as mine, but is a column shift, and mine is a floor shift. I'll get real photos, including some of the wiring in the back, from my truck as soon as I can. http://www.ebay.com/itm/53-54-55-56-FORD-F100-PICKUP-TRUCK-ORIGINAL-COMPLETE-STEERING-COLUMN-/111461979725?pt=Vintage_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item19f3a6d64d&vxp=mtr
