Is the truck stock? What size tubing did you use? Did you use a single muffler?

I would 'shop' the thread here of the diff. sound clips, and note the particulars of various systems. Maybe you'll find your answers there.

The truck is completely stock except for the muffler it's a single tube it comes in 2 and 1/4 and coming out there are 2 2inch pipes

Which mufflers did you use? The Super models tend to be a bit more tinny and higher pitched than the originals. I don't like the sound of my Super 44. You can hear the sound clip of it in the exhaust note thread at the end. I got a couple Original 40s in the garage that I will try out.

Agh that's not good news. Might just use some Cherry Bombs instead...

Yeah, when I was first shopping around for an exhaust, I called several exhaust shops asking the tech what they use on their personal vehicle. "Put a Flowmaster on it!" was an extremely common response. I'd then ask what engine they have. "V8"
Finally, one guy said to use a Dynomax turbo muffler, and his response to the question was a Toyota Landcruiser I6.
I went off that recommendation and couldn't be more pleased.
