So this is the best news i ever received, a lady i know contacted me and said her grandson NEVER came back to get his Bronco and left the state, but, he has the key and title, so she told me to come get it, she is filing for a abandoned vehicle title, since it has sat for about a year, but we have no key besides my 79 ford key which i lost, while trying to get a key for mine we noticed a 92 Ford truck key worked for my truck. Can you use a 79 Ford key in a 92 Bronco like the 92 key in a 79 ford or was that just pure luck and i need to cut a key for the bronco?
We figured, but i wanted to ask before driving an bour to go find out my keys wont work, so i'll go get the title and have my key cutter cut ine for me. Thanks.
Go to a JY grab a $5.oo ignition assembly out of a 78/79 with a key in it (just tap the 3 notch outer ring off in a counter clock wise direction and remove and un plug it).
Un plug the old ing and just plug in the new TJ one, you can even leave it hanging under the dash, wala no key to be made.
While you are there pop (slide the U shaped lock tab from the back side) the door locks so one key matches door locks and ing. Look for a locking glove box too...2 phillips screws hold it in.
Only one side of the ford key works. If you have two fords you can have a key duplicated cuts from one truck, flip key over and have cuts from other truck duplicated on that side. Same for door locks. This works with 5 pin or 10 cut. Ignition key that unlocks door also is a 10 cut.

Hmmm, first time I read this, it could come quite handy for me around these parts, I'll try to dig a little more into this.
