Got a new problem. New HPOP installed, and it fired right up, but then I see a mist. on the side of the fuel bowl closest to the GPR, the front line has a pin hole about a half inch from the fitting, and its pissing fuel. First, without pulling the spider back off, I cant even see where the other end of this line goes. So how much of a PITA is it going to be to change the whole thing? How much pressure is in this line?, can I cut it and put a compression coupler on the straight section so I don't have to tear the whole damn thing apart again? can I wrap a piece of hose around it and hose clamp it? I really need to have it on the road tomorrow night. Thanks for any help!!!
The video is great. I got everything pulled apart last night? So hopefully the dealership can get me the line today. Thanks for the hook up.
Check valves?? This is the first time I've heard of such a thing

Crafty Clay of Riffraff Diesel has found another way to make me and now you spend money on your 7.3.
LOL. I guess the good thing for me (and my budget) is that the only time that I've been able to find to work on my truck lately is when I NEED to, and time is usually of the essence. Otherwise, I'd also be adding to the pile of money that they make over at Riffraff!!!
I still have mine in the box with yellow tape (albeit opened). I took one look at this task and said "I'm gunna need a bigger tool box". I need to get some claw-foot wrenches, an overhead creeper, and mail gloves.

You won't need the crow foot wrenches, but you will need the topside creeper and gloves. I helped Travis aka Strokin'_Tatsch install his regulated return, part of which was installing new check valves. It's also a very good excuse to get a new tool box and tools.
Sears always has a good "Days after Black Friday" sale. I got a nice set of tools to carry in my Roadside Emergency kit, but this year, I will back my Turbo Diesel up to Sears and buy some tools!
