Put In stage 2 injectors with terminator dual hpop. New ICP sensor was just installed as well. Have incredible power off the line but once I reach 2700 rpm the truck governs and won't go any faster. It doesn't matter what gear or program I have it in. I'm going to get it logged and give it to Jody from dp tuner but wanted some crazy ideas until I get a chance. Anything helps
Jody mentioned depending on the pressures he can adjust the tune or may have to yank the injectors. I replaced my cam sensor 5 yrs ago but wasn't sure how long they last. Do I have a plan? ...kinda, but would like some possible input to get a better plan
What kind of boost do you have? Do you have a boost fooler? If not the PCM will start defueling when the boost get above 22psi I believe. With dual HPOP's you shouldn't have any oil problems.
What injectors do you have. I take it you have full gauge set ups?
Somebody asked if there is a boost fooler. Yes , pre stage 2 I was pulling incredible boost. Yes I have a quad pod with gauges. I had the truck live tuned as we'll pre stage 2. I messed it up going bigger. I guess I'll have to wait until the numbers are in
You need to be looking at Pulse Width, ICP and IPR Duty Cycle while driving. That can tell you a great deal.
This one. Do you have a scan tool/gauge?
Stage II sticks are frequently IH AC 160/100s, but not always. What have you got? If they are the Stage IIs I listed, why did you got to such a monster HPOP?
I about died when I read that one. I think it's best I go pee before I log in and read your subsequent posts. Two years later, I'm still putting the finishing touches on Stinky to accept the Stage IIs (IH AC 160/100).
Replying to a couple posts, I don't have a scan tool but will hopefully be stopping in with a guy who does. I was throwing 1211 codes every time I got on it and Jody from dp strongly recommended to put on the hpop for the stage 2's. The other reply is it is a regular f 250. I don't think it has what ur asking because before these new full force sticks If I wanted I could pull 38 lbs boost, bury my egt gauge and take the RPMS up over 3100 where they are holding out at 2700
Within the next two days I'll be taking it to get scanned. Could u possibly give me an idea so I can have a heads up awhile and what you believe to do to solve it
Did you put in a new IPR? If not, that mitt b e the problem. Scan gauge would tell for sure. How high are your EGT's at 2700 rpm's? Dual pumps are great but I wouldn't think you need them for stage two's. I was going to run the 205/100 non hybrid and was told for full all out power I should have duals also. I think that's were Stewart is also. It slowed me down on my purchase, another $2500 plus. I really don't want full out power for racing, but do want the torq for towing. I mitt just run my T500 and see.
