Possible issue with my NP435!?

Hi guys, my truck has the NP435 transmission in it. Sometimes, when I am driving in 3rd gear, the shifter will pop out of third, the whole shifter pretty much moves to the neutral position. I've maybe put 300 miles on the truck in the last 4 to 5 years and I haven't noticed any increase in frequency of this issue. It doesn't do it regularly, and I haven't found any specific set of circumstances that are causing it. It has no trouble up or downshifting.

Could this be a sign of a developing problem, or maybe its just something silly? Whats your guys take on it?

Worn synchro

Worn shaft

Worn shift forks/shifter not allowing full engagement.

Pick up to 3.

Are you able to inspect these issues from the top of the transmission? I can't recall what it even looks like under there as it's been about 5 years since I put this transmission into the truck!
