New Shifter?
guys i just bought a hurst indy pickup shifter 3 speed part # 5010016 for my truck and was wanting to know if anyone else has one and could tell me any pros and cons about it because i can't seem to find anyone else who has bought one around where i live, thanks

I converted mine from a column shift to the floor with this shifter and it's pretty cool. The only bad thing I've noticed is that when shifting into second gear, you can't force it over into gear, you have to push it up and then go over and up to second gear from first. If you just force it over to second, it will hang up pretty badly. It took me a little while to get used to it, but I love it. My truck is a daily driver and the shifter does pretty good. It's not the highest quality shifter, but it's definitely not the lowest either. I'd give it a 8 out of 10, 10 being the highest.
