Lost my only key.. Need help
So to begin I'm in the Navy stationed in GTMO. While I was home on leave about 3 weeks ago I lost the only chipped key to my truck (05 f150 XL). I've got a door key but that won't work in the ignition because I never got around to getting another key. Friends and family have looked high and low for me now that I'm gone again. My folks even called the dealer and said 2005 was an iffy year.. And they can't even pull up codes from my vin to chip a key for me.. Anybody ever had this problem or know what I could do.

Right. A locksmith that does automotive work can fix that for you. Either he can make a new key and do the programming to make it work, or for about the same price replace the lock with two news keys.
Anyone that has the proper programming tool can program new keys.
