brakes locking up

I have a 2000 f250 4x4 with 4 wheel abs. The front passenger side caliper keeps locking up while I'm driving and won't release and when I hit the brakes it pulls hard to the drivers side. I have put two calipers on the passengers side and put new brake lines on. Just trying to see if anyone can help.

If it pulls to the drivers side why are you focusing on the passenger side?

Sort of like cutting off a board twice and it's still too short!!!

I always replace calipers in pairs along with pads and rotor servicing.

Because the driver side only dose it when the passenger side is sticking.

Okay Stew - that puts a slightly different light on it then...

Have you checked out the front end of the truck for play in the balljoints and tie rods?

The caliper mounts - if they are slide mounts, you may have some corrosion/rust/wear on the slides which will cause a caliper to hang up and the brake pressure will then be applied un-evenly..

What did the old pads tell you? Are they worn evenly across the face?

I just put new ball joints on it every thing checks out on it. The problem is that it doesn't stick all the time I can drive it for a month or two with no problems then other times it dose it 2 or 3 or more a week

Floating calipers don't always stick and that may be part of the problem..
The real bad thing is that if the pads have already started a bad wear pattern, there is no economical way to reverse that - you just have to replace them.

Servicing the slides -
Have to remove the calipers, clean the slides thoroughly and use a fine file to remove any rough spots. I use silicone grease to lube the slides. Yes, the grease can attract and hold dirt, but I've not found that to be a problem in normal highway use.

Did you replace both flex hoses on the front?
