HPOP

Hey all,

I have a customer that has a HPO leak... its an 05 with about 150k on it, I replaced injectors, stand pipes and dummy plugs last winter, but he didn't want me to do the STC fitting...I begged him but he said no, well now it wont start hot...go figure.

So he asked me if I could replace the HPOP while Im in there, I told him the 05-up trucks were pretty reliable but he insists. Is there an A/M pump that is better than the stock pump or should I just put a stock pump on it and be done?

I thought I saw on the Dieselsites page they made an adreline but I guess its just for 03-04's

I don't think dieselsite has come out with the 05 and up pumps yet so factory is all you've got. Regardless, the factory pump is VERY reliable and I doubt it's bad. Possible, of course, but not likely.

That's what I told him Tim, but he wants to spend his money so I was just looking for options.

Dieselsite does have pumps for 05-07 6.0. Mark

I knew they were testing them but didn't know they'd released them yet. Good for folks to know.

They have been "pre-ordering" them. I haven't heard of anyone actually receiving one yet though
