What's your hp

I am guessing I am somewhere around 210 right now. Only mods are a waste gated banks kit and 3.5 inch straight pipe. The way it sits it will pull pretty hard on my buddies obs powerstroke. I haven't touched my pump, but I am guessing I could gain quite a bit of power from tuning the pump, the way the truck is now it doesn't even haze so I'm sure I can clean more fuel. What are your guys power situations?

I'm fairly certain that I'm hitting double digits.

Mine is N/A and stock. My iPhone dyno app shows about 120HP at the wheels. That makes a pretty killer power to weight ratio at 7,500 Lbs!

I'm thinking somewhere in the 150HP range *with* my turbo, currently. Something feels seriously wrong power wise - I'm thinking my IP just took a turn for the worse, and there may be something else wrong with one cyl as well.
It's time to get my backup truck daily-driving, then pull and rework the engine on my main truck.

my 88 has just enough HP to move the 8,900 LB truck down the road very nicely.
my 02 has just enough to put the rear wheels up in smoke if you stomp on the go pedal hard.

The valve cover indicates 166 or 180, I assume the lower is for California. I have no evidence supporting this claim. These are commercial engines designed to be efficient for the work needed and have a long life. So the design requirement is "just enough power" to do the job (all day long) with maybe 10% reserve.

This quite departure from modern cars and trucks in America with 2 or 3 times the needed power.

The 166 rating is high altitude >4500' Pump has a lower calibration to keep from over-fueling.

Generally speaking, NA engines are 120-125whp and turbo are 180-220whp depending on pump setting, most IC'd 90cc apps seem to be 230-240whp.

If i had to venture a guess id say im around 180-190 with the drive leak. Just downloaded the "dyno app"... didnt even know there was such a thing. Ill give it a shot once the headlights are in.
