All the lights on.

This was probably taken a little too close, but here is the truck at night with all the lights on.

read the whole thread, nice work.

i've gone around and around in my head too about what to do, but decided that if i ever was to upgrade, i'd just go with harley-style 05-07 lights, decent xenon bulbs, and a rectangular LED bar between where the OE fogs would be for high-beam duty.. maybe i missed it but i didn't see that mentioned.

20" LED bar fits perfectly. Loved mine, right up until some lowlife stole it while I was watching a movie last year. Back to stock fog's and small sun-bulbs again, lol.

Looks great dude, glad you finally got it all sorted out. Do you have the LED's on your housings? If so, how'd you get them wired up? Try different angles when you're taking pics, and focusing directly on the light itself - like on my iPhone, I'll take a 3/4 shot and focus on the bulb itself to keep the glare down. That's how I got this one to come out on high-beam :

The Harley style 05-07 headlights are a popular upgrade on the forums. I just didn't think they'd look great on my truck, at least not as good as these lights. Plus these have the LED light bar which I really like.

I've seen a lot of the LED bar fog lights around my part of town. I think they look ok on some rigs but in general, I just don't think they blend in very well. I'm not sure how well they'd look on a 03 with the fog lights much closer together. Mostly I've seen the led bars on later model Fords that have the OEM fogs much farther apart.

I also don't use the fog very much. I did upgrade the fogs as Matt suggested, using the 9005s instead of the stock 9145 base bulbs.

The LED's come on with the parking lights and also when the headlights are illuminated. I went out to grab pics and what do you know? One of passenger side LEDs didn't come on. So now I've got to figure out why.

Yeah, I'm up in Cypress. My truck has been in a state of total chaos for about 2 months. Fortunately, I had knee surgery in that time and couldn't drive for about a month. So I didn't need it. We'll have to figure out a time and place to meet up.

Right now, I'm a little pissed that my LEDs aren't working on one headlight. But I'm having the blinkers upgraded to LED so I'll have the shop check the headlights out.

The biggest and unexpected expense was a TransferFlow 49 gallon replacement tank. Today I'm not certain I needed it...turns out the problem may have been due to the fuel cap.

I also have a vent a little loose in the dash that is undoubtedly due to the numerous times the dash has been pulled out in the last month. I decided not to mess with it since they'll have to pull out the dash to do some other work for me anyways. I have a gallery up now and plan to do a post when everything is the way I want it.

More than likely its just a bad connection or solder, not uncommon on these Malaysian-sourced lights. LED signals will most likely require the use of an LED flasher, otherwise you'll get the lightning-fast blink.

If you're going with LED's I'd recommend taking a look at the Switchback's. They're pretty badass looking.

Bad connection or solder. Great. That makes me wonder if I can get it fixed or whether I need to replace the entire thing. I mean it was working fine just the other day.

I did consider them, but just wasn't sure because I couldn't find any good videos of them in actual trucks. So I just went with Putco 360s since that is what my truck accessory shop recommended based on their experience. I wanted to try the Putco Plasma bulbs but I deferred to the shop.

Interestingly, they really don't like Recon brand.

@mecdac what did you do with the side marker bulb from the old assembly? The new assembly looks like it only has an opening for the headlight and turn signal bulbs.
