My gauges are not able to be taken apart without damaging them. I will deal with them for now until I can afford new better quality gauges. I will also switch to electric over mechanical when I do.

I guess it really depends how much night driving you do.
Once your eyes adjust to them, It's like looking at a ugly woman after a while you see the real her and not so hard on the eyes.

OH, so kinda like how my wife got used to looking at me
They are visible but in a dark shadowy way. I will probably get used to it, but I don't like how long it currently takes to look at the gauges while driving at night. More than a glance can be dangerous. Currently I drive very little at night.
When I did my dash I also added idiot lights to come on at temp 210* it comes on and low oil light 17psi as a person can keep an eye on a gauge very much or very long while driving.
But a light will grab your sight faster..
Plus cheaper and way easier then buying new gauges..

Hey Crz'd Bronco,
Have you got a vacuum gauge that you would part with? I have the same F600 instrument cluster, and need the vacuum gauge. I have the 300 IL 6, but no matter, vacuum is vacuum.

If I could come up with a replacement for the vacuum gauge you could have mine from my f600 cluster.
Hola Jeff,
I am North of the border until early June, and of course, my old truck is at home in Baja, Mx.. So, I am unable to check the numbers on the cluster, to see what year it is. I am not even sure if it is from a F500 or F600, as the seller had no clue. Does it really matter? I am the clueless one on that score.

F500 or F600 wouldn't make a difference. The year would. I am assuming they are graduated differently. So to match your other gauges we'd have to figure out the year.
