You know the truck interior did not look bad before.
Are gauges pretty easy to acquire and setup for the pickup?
I would like the idea of setting up a modern (well not digital modern) gauge cluster.

Setting the gauges up is pretty easy , i am going to use the factory loom off the 67 cluster , that way just one plug to undo .
gauge I am looking at are either the "Wing series " or Dolphin gauges , still researching the Dolphin gauges .
Dolphin gauges

Stewart warner Wings gauges

Stewart Warner for sure. Most of the dolphin gauges I have seen have that stupid dolphin written too big on them or have that dumb dolphin logo. Might want to look at Omega Kustom. I used them; they have pretty good prices on gauge packages and don't have some obtrusive logo that sticks out on the gauge.

thanks F100today , I contacted Dolphin for a wiring diagram on gauges and they sent me something that looked like it was done by a 5 year old with a crayon .
so that pretty much made up my mind on not using Dolphin.

Hey Mike it seems like after many yrs of looking at the same dash gauges we get tired of the bouncing speedometers, old out dated amp meter and so on.

I went with the electric speedometer as it can be reprogramed for any tire sizes to want to change to.. Don't know if you went that way or not but sure happy with it..

Put some por-15 on the floor pan & double pad it juke padding heat & sound..

Keep those pix coming for the newbies..

yes going with the programmable speedo so i can correct for tire size
i have some surface rust but not rusted through so going to treat it and seal with por-15 or a bed liner type material and sound deaden

I had a few very small holes in the floor pan and with a good amount of rusted area so, I used a thick base coat Por-15 then laid some boat fiberglass cross weave cloth over that, then a top coat p-15 worked into the base just like doing fiberglass repair work.

It turn out great and but you have to wait a few hrs. though to let it just it get tacky before it set up so it will bond to the base coat...

I'm running out of things to do to mind. So now removing all the paint from the headliner trim and going to send it out and get it chromed.

Got some more done , made another wood dash insert , stained it then wiped it off to highlight the grain and sprayed with some clear urethane .

also started prepping the floors and realized I just can't live with the pitted floors , so ordering the patch panels and going to replace both sides . i've done floors in early Mustangs before so I am not sweating this .
