Cleaning additive before changing fluids
I have been changing the fluids in my old truck, transfer case, rear differntial.
I was wondering if there is a reccomended additive that could be used before I change the oil in my front axle that would "clean" the gears and then change with clean oil? Also to be used in the tranny before a flush.

No.... If there is you'd be wasting your money on "cleaning" your gears. They have tight tolerances and spin fast
The transmission I would say change it and the filter and if you want add an external filter.
