The dash harness you have is for a 99-01 f-250/350/450 and the hood harness you have, as far as I can see from what I can find, belongs to a 2001 F650 with a 7.2 CAT.
The 2002 F250 does not have a under hood fuse box, at least mine does not. Let me check the service manual and see what I can come up with as far as part numbers. I know enough to be dangerous but I will give it a shot.
It looks as though Ford has them all listed under the same part number: 12A581; however, each one is listed with different features but the part number does not change.
go down on the left hand side of the new page under “Search 2002 Ford F-250 Super Duty by:” and enter harness in the keyword section and select search.
You will now see 18 pages of harnesses and the 7.3 main’s start on page 2
Sorry if that's not the kind of help you need but its all I can find right now. While the wiring diagram book shows the location and routing for all of the harnesses, it does not list part numbers for each harness.
thank you, that's what I was coming up with too, I know the last letters have a deal with the correct harness but ford does not list the codes anywhere to help. IE (VF, ADT)
You might call the parts department of your local Ford dealer and ask them what the part number is as they should have it. The down side could be that the reason all the parts are showing the same number might indicate that Ford no longer makes or supplies this part. I had a similar issue last year when I needed a stock alternator bracket and Ford no longer carried them. Ended up buying one off E-bay for three times what Ford had sold them for but when you need the part you might not have a choice. Next option would be the local wrecking yards.
That is my issue as the Dealers cant find the part anymore because they have been discontinued do to minimal orders. I have checked parts places and I am in a battle with one right now trying to return the wrong harness that they sent me. (ordered a 2002 harness and was sent the above wrong harnesses and they are giving me the runaround)
