oilguard filter change interval

I know a lot of folks here also run the oilguard system, was just wondering if you change your filter every time do an oil change? When you do the complete change what is the total capacity of your oil change?
I'm coming up on 10k miles and am preparing to make the switch to synthetic, I just wanna have all my ducks in a row before I go opening the valve.

This is just my opinion, you millage may and will varry...

I am changing the oil/full-flow filter every 5k and the OilGuard filter every 10k. I was planning on using an air compressor to just blow the old oil out of the oilguard system back into the truck so i do not have to remove the canister filter every other change. I am also using Mobil1 full synth.

Disclaimer, I have not done my first oil change yet. I have hit the 5100 mil mark and have everything ready, just need to make the time now

The filters are so inexpensive I would change the OilGuard filter when you change the main one...IMO
