OilGuard Bypass - changing filter elements

Guys, when do you change your elements? I accidentally posted this question in the wrong forum earlier.

My first 5K sample/test event is coming up pretty quick. I've heard about mid-interval changes for some elements, but the OilGuard site says to only change both elements (full flow and bypass) at the time when the oil is changed.

What has your experience been, and when do you change yours?

I change the full flow every 3000 and change the bypass once every 6000.. Maybe could go alot longer, but it is only money....My oil test come back looking real good..

For me, it depends on the oil change. I had been changing both filters at 5000 miles, along with the oil. But, I went to a 3000 mile change interval for a bit and will change the bypass element every other change.

I change the oil every time I change the bypass filter..at 6K. Maybe could go longer but I only drive about 9K per year. I only have 70K on the truck now and it is a 99.
