Does anyone know where to get the liner for the vent window frame? bought new ones and it didn't have the liner to put the glass in. Doesn't help I don't know what the correct name is to search for it. Thanks.
What you are looking for is called bedding tape. Go to your local auto glass shop and they should be able to help you. It comes in different thickness so you may want to take your frame and glass with you
On the vent seals. When you install them in the frame they will be slightly longer than the frame on both ends. Do not trim them to be the same length. They are meant to be longer so that when the divider bar is installed the rubber from the seal will butt up against and crush tightly to the bar forming a good seal. Ask me how I know not to trim them. I usually learn the hard way.
This an eyelet setting tool that I got at my local Michaels Craft store. The rivets came from Hanson Rivet part # D3-6-ST - BUT are sold in a bag of 100. You need 4. You may be able to find them individually at a local hardware store...good luck..
