Between which frame & which glass? The straight divider & the door glass; the divider & the vent glass; or the forward vent frame & the vent glass? Are you sure it's leaking at the glass? Usually, it's between the vent frame & the rubber seal at the bottom near the pivot.
Vent glass and the frame that goes down the front edge and along the bottom of the glass. Went through a carwash and can watch it come from under the glass. The seal is gone between the frame and glass.
Pull the glass out of the frame, clean both, & put it back with black silicone or polyurethane adhesive. Don't try to clean up what squeezes out until it's THOROUGHLY dry.
Steve83 will I have to pull the whole thing out or just open window and pull out the glass from the frame? I might take it somewhere and have it done and get weatherstipping around the frame replaced. The weatherstrip is $95 from Ford.
A complete vent window assembly from a junkyard is only $10-80, depending on year. What's yours? (Fill in your profile! )
If the sealant is so bad that it leaks, you should be able to work the glass out just by opening the window. But if the rubber is bad, you might as well replace the whole thing.
Hey remember ford pickups from 92-96 will also have the right vent window. You can pull one from the trucks. I got one from the junk yard for 30 bucks out of a 96 f150 for my bronco..
