Door latching issue?

So my driver door doesn't shut right unless I slam it, (which I hate doing!) I've done the whether strip mod on all four door and the other three doors shut perfectly. This was an issue with my driver door prior to doing said whether strip mod. Any of you guys ran into this? If so, ideas on how to fix it?

Thanks,

Trevor

Isn't there a latch adjustment?

Not that I could tell. Once the bolts are tightened down they seem to center the latch to the same place.

How about that anchor with the 2 torx screws? Does that move?

Nope. Centers itself once tightened.

Door part doesn't adjust either? You could file the inside of the anchor so you don't have to slam it.

Try filing the inside of the loop, worse case is that you have to buy a new one.

Could it be that that the latching mechanism is sticking. I would pull it apart and clean it all up good then spray with some white lithium or graphite.

Ford doesn't have an adjustment because the figure you need a new latch.

Try lubing it and filing the loop.
