I replaced the door to cab weatherstripping, and now im having a hard time closing the doors without really slamming them hard. Am I supost to adjust the latch or the hinges? If my wife needs to use the truck she cant even close the door securly. Any tricks or ideas?
Yes, loosen the striker (the pin that the latch catches on) and move it out a little till the door closes properly, as the rubber compresses you may need to move it back in.
Thanks my okie brother. I planned on doing that tomorrow, just needed a lil encouragment. It sure is nice not having the door rattle everytime I hit a bump now.
