Hmm. They look to be a really good low beam light but I use my high beams a lot, I guess I could just install a bull bar and put a few lights in there to come on with my high beams come on hehe
You could get the led bulbs for the fog lights too and do the fog light mod so they stay on with the high beams. I was very pleased with the results along with the 9005's in the fogs but didn't use LEDs . Although I would still love to have more light.
I had 9005s in my fog lights as well and they were more useful than my old headlights. I am going to swap them with led cubes so they match the 5000k of my headlights

I have aftermarket halo fog lights and have them on a relay.
One thing I would like to hear from everyone that does the LED.
Next winter when you have snow I would like to know if you have
any snow buildup problems while driving.
I remember back when the tinted halogen lamps
were first hitting the market before the SivlerStart
and they were really nice on snow. But get in the rain
and I could not see squat. Also I seemed to get more
reflected light during the snow fall. But once on the ground
they were nice and bright.
One thing about the LEDs and the HIDs is that you can
get a very narrow light bandwidth and you can pick
the lines that will be strong. Like a laser you can tune
the gas. And the LEDs are the same. They are a monochrome
output lamp. Yes your going to get some sidebands.
Back to the question.
Snow might be a problem with the lack of heat in the
lamp housing.
You are talking about rain during the night right?
Yep, One too many times getting the retains "fixed" But that happens
when you detach both and they go rooting around in your eyeballs and
tack-welding them back down with a laser.
Well, in a couple weeks I should have a set of the el-cheapo LED H13's in my hands..
$70 for the gamble. If nothing else, I'll figure out a way to mount them in my plow lights for next winter.
I'm really really debating now for my new truck, I wont have any place for mounting AUX lighting like my Excursion and i need high beams as when you get 4 hours of sunlight in the middle of winter you need all the light you can get...plus moose are a big concern!
its a toss up i'm 50/50 going LED or HID right now...i have some time to decide.
