C6 Question
I have a friend who is replacing his 460 with a 428 CJ in his highboy. Now I believe the motor mounts are different correct?
But here is the real question. Can we take the short tail shaft off the 460 c6 and put it on the rebuilt 2wd C6 he has for a FE? Or are the transmissions completely different and not just the bellhousing? Since it is a highboy the tailshafts are different from a 2wd.

Engine mounts are different but should be pretty easy to find.
I took an output shaft and adapter from a 77-79 4wd C-6 and swapped it into a FE C-6 2wd with no issues.
