Anyone have any idea where I can get the tail housing adapter to attach a borgwarner 1356 to my c6 transmission? Iv Got the output shaft but no adapter.

Some more information would be helpful. Are you converting a 2wd truck to 4wd? My '87 U150 came from the factory with that setup.

Yes converting 2wd c6 to 4wd. I have the right out put shafts but the actual tail housing adapter is what I'm looking for

Did you recently rebuild the trans? If I not I would just find a 4wd trans and swap them out. It might be cheaper.

I’m a couple years late to the party but I’m in the process of doing the same thing to my 88 F350 with the C6. I bought a 1984 F350 with a t-19 and a BW 1345 transfer case and am looking for an adapter and shaft. (From what I can find the BW 1345 and BW 1356 use the same adapter)

after research I ended up with ordering the part from https://woodys4x4.com/Adapters.htm

The bolt pattern for the BW 1356 is apparently the same as the np205. So if your bolt patterns are the same as those. It should work. The part number I got was D7TP-7A040-BA

be sure to check the output shaft length of your transmission pretty sure ford made a longer adapter for an 8 inch output.

Hope this helps
