Been working on 2 F600 trucks. Both have 330HD motors with D4TE-DA motorcraft carbs, 1.08 venturi. Have discovered one of my carburators has split emulsion tubes and has been very hesitant to pick up the throttle for some time. Also has problem running at a higher idle.
Anyway, I have not been able to find a replacement venturi, looking for used carb for parts.
My question.
What would be my best replacement carb for this 330HD motor. Can i go to a carb with a larger venturi.....1.14", 1.19, etc
Does this carb have a built in governor? If not probably any Motorcrat 2100/2150 would work.
If you want an exact replacement I did locate one NOS carb still available.

Yes it does have a governor body ?? sitting up under the carburetor. Although I know very little about it, the butterflies have been removed in the throttle body?? Some of my terminology may not be correct there.
What about venturi size or jet size on a new carb? I know this is stock carb but also know they were set up for economy. Just curious if it is a good idea to go up to 1.14 venturi or something. I have found several used carbs in that range.
