I have seen many post about these things. and some said it's easy.
But for those of you who have DONE the job. can you PLEASE tell me. 1st of all. do they come with a factory type plug in.... ?
or is there wiring involved ?
My truck did not come with them and I don't know if I need to splice into anything.
also. did you have to take the head liner off ?
I guess what I'm asking was it a pain. or ya think a 54 year old man can handle it just fine ?
also the drilling into the cab..... I just can bring myself to think about this.
I want to order some. But,, BUT..... BUT...........
I can't speak for recon as I bought pacer. But it's really an easy job. I just ran the wires and spliced them into a hot wire for the headlights. You don't have to completely remove the headliner, just get it pulled down a bit. You just unbolt the visors etc and it'll pull right down. Measure multiple times, step back and look at it, re measure and repeat. Then after you drill, use lots of silicon. I'm almost 3 months in, no leaks, no problems, no complaints, and ole Audrey looks so much better with them than without
