Installing New cab lights??
I love how cab lights look on a truck...
was thinking about adding some to my 07 Outlaw... BUT it has a sunroof... is there enough room to add them? is it worth it for the look? I have seen where someone on here added some to a truck that didnt have them before and they look AWESOME....

There's room for them with the moonroof because they build them like that as well.
The biggest thing to overcome for me would be the apprehension when it comes to drilling into the roof.
I've seen the threads about it before also. You might try doing a search and you might also look down in the 6.7 PSD forum as some of the guys there have done their own as well.

Theres room up there cause ive seen em w/moonroof's & cab lights together.
As far as installing its no sweat, just start with the center first & space accordingly.
My 1st F250 did not come with factory cab lights so i bought a set of aftermarket led ones & all i had to drill was 3 small holes for each light, 2 for mounting screws & 1 in the center to feed wires through. You will also have to remove the Headliner, any point can be used as ground (i used one of the mounting screws on each light). Then just run a power wire up the A-Pillar from the back of your Headlight Switch (i tapped into the "parking light" wire).
Its very easy just time consuming...Go for it

My friend put these on his and I think he said they come with a template for measuring and drilling.

I bought mine through Recon too, and they are good lights. I didn't get any template or anything though so I just kind of winged it. I posted some install pics here https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...-crew-cab.html This style cab light has the screws positioned left and right instead of front to back, so The moon roof shouldn't be a problem. You can physically see where the moon roof supports are after you drop your headliner to make sure your measurements wont hit anything
Yeah my 03 f250 didnt come with them on, so I got the smoked led amber ones from recon, mine are tapped in my parking lights, they also come on when I lock my truck with my remote and the lights blink. I think they are the best.
