Yellow is for low fan speed
red is for high fan speed
blue is for high beams
and green for signals
not sure if I like the spacing of gauges , i have plenty of wood so might try a couple different lay outs

Yea, I changed my first dash layout also..
No light for cruise control but those are low like 3.5 volts or wheat lamp bulbs. I used a smaller little blue one. The 3.5volts comes from the cruise control unit itself.
I get spoiled drive my other vehicle that has cc then jump in ol blue miss the cc. So added it to my 5 spd stick. Long drives are a killer on the right foot when you get past the 50's and don't mean speed..
Finally got some time to work on the interior more .
got the dash all fitted and temporary painted housing semi gloss black
also got the floors covered with bedliner , should have done this after primering the interior ..
also sanded and primered all interior .
Ouch well now a new tinted one can be put in it's place..
With these old wind shields you should cut the outer rubber lip off the gasket when removing less chance of cracking them. Then install with a new window gasket seal.
I had a bubby back in the 60's that worked in the junk yard tow driver and striping the good parts for resale and he would just pushed the window shields out with his two feet placed at the top kind of spread eagle with his back laying in the seat.
Ps did you weld up the cab hole from your old cab tank also.?
Orich
Is that pan that covers the center hump factory or fabricated? Mine does not have anything similar. I have seen references to tall and sort humps on the center hump.
I am going to try to take out my windshield in the near future and definitely will be taking precautions to avoid cracking it. Seems everything I do of late ends up costing me more in fixing my efforts to fix something.

Soapy water or window cleaner helps let the rubber flex while pushing in & out a window area the gaskets.
Use a small like 1/4" rope looped in the seal too install the window. Pull the rope pulls the seal outward over the body lip.
Gasket was new when i had truck painted just 1.5 years ago or so , I used the windshield bones and it still cracked . oh well guess i get a tinted one did some searching and they are pretty cheap so no biggy .
that's the factory C6 big hump pan
I didn't fill the original filler hole , i have a dummy filler neck in place with locking cap on it .

If you loan your truck out to someone don't let them put gas in it!
LOAN my truck out ? now that's funny . I don't have the key to the locking cap so that saves me from the cab full of gas . lol
I learned not to loan vehicles out along time ago , I use to let my best friend borrow my 65 mustang fastback ,at the time it had a mild built 289 . I heard from many other people that they saw "me" doing smokey burn outs and donuts in a parking lot . It was not ME . still friends with him but don't lend stuff . lol
