The original A/T shift collar had the pointer made as part of it. In 1973, Ford replaced the original collar with another. This collar has a separate plastic pointer that slips into a slot on the collar.
The pointer was available by itself, it also comes with the collar. The pointer itself is now obsolete, the collar is still available from Ford.
