72 F250 shift collar
Would anyone happen to know where I might find a steering column collar for a 72 f250 with a c6? It's pretty tough to shift and I think it's about to break... any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks

The collar is available from Ford. It's slightly different than the original, but fits just the same.
It's possible your truck already has this newer style collar, as the original has not been available since 1975.
D5TZ-7228-A (replaced C5TZ-7228-B & C9TZ-7228-A) .. A/T Shift Collar Kit-Includes D3TZ-7A110-A Plastic Indicator (pointer).

The original shift collar has the indicator (pointer) made as part of it. This shift collar has a rectangular slot in the collar that the plastic indicator slips into.
