460 mounting , cross member

I have a 460 to go in the truck ( not on hand yet) I have a engine swap mounting kit. do i need to remove the trans cross member? The trans is a 4 speed stick from the same truck 83 f250 . Do i need a trans mount kit or something? anyone have pics of the swap?

I cant help with the 5 speed, but I did not have to remove the rear crossmember for my 429-C6.

I know it not the same motor but I put a 400m and a long tail shaft c6 in my 1960 ford f100. I didn't have to remove the original front mounts or original trans mount. I was able to fit long tube header still. Go ahead and check out my thread.
