Hi, and welcome to FTE. 
You're going to have to give us more info on your truck to help you out. 2x4 or 4x4? auto or manual? I have 68 M100 2x4 that I put a 460/C6 in. All I did was bolt the C6 to the existing trans crossmember, and then measured and had custom motor mounts built to sit the engine on. It's much easier now, to get a set of 460 mounts for a 73-79 truck and bolt then into your truck. There's actually some pictures of it in my "TIME TO CLEAN MY ENGINE" thread. You might be able to see my mounts in some of the pictures.
