Nevada May BS Thread
Only 108 here on the river, right now, may get a few more degrees before it cools to the high 80s tonight. Almost warm enough to swim in the river but not quiet yet. The shut off our heaters in the pool & a few days like this & the pool will be a nice 89 degrees or more.
This has been a real cool May.
I'm glad its Friday. I hope your day was better than mine. Lol
What a day(& lastnight)! Ive been up since 4am
I've been an emotional wreck since lastnight.
1st my sister & I both got hurt over a stupid misunderstanding.

2nd my baby pups arent babies anymore.

Lucky & Brie got lucky for the 1st time lastnight because shes in heat.
On the plus side, looks like I'll be a grandma again(kinda)

I just miss them being pupies & now their all grown up. It's almost like saying goodbye to your child on their 1st day of Kindergarten as you watch the school bus drive away
I know...stupid theory right?...but its my theory & I'm sticken to it! Lol
Definitely early to bed tonight.
Have a great rest of your evening.
Happy Saturday

Another one of those days today. Lots of crying...sad, but happy tears.
I'm over my pups boinking & more excited that their gonna be puppy parents. LOL
Jimmy & I went to our friend, A.J.s memorial service today. It was packed!
We just got back on the motorcycle & we're both tired & wind blown.
Apparently "A.J." or better known as the rap, singer, song writer...Whyte Recluse was alot more popular than I had thought! I've known his parents for a good 6-7 years now, met A.J. a couple times at his parents bar years ago & have listened to A.J.s music, but didn't know that he was "Whyte Recluse." Anyway, his memorial service was beautiful & very touching. Atleast he's in a better place.

Any of you ever heard of him? (if you listen to that stuff) LOL
Well, again...it's early to bed tonight. I can hardly see straight my eyes are so gritty, foggy & puffy from crying. I'm soooo done with all the negative stuff. Can I have some positive stuff now please? LOL
Have a great night.

Donna, I hate it when sad crap happens all in a row like that. Here's happy news, my (adopted) nephew Cody got first place again last night at Lovelock Speedway, only 3 races and he has two firsts and a second, never raced before and is the points leader. He's a natural! I hope he remembers us when he's a big NASCAR driver lol...

I'm going to a Memorial for a lady I knew today. She lived a good life into her late 80s.
Michelle, if he is really good you guys need to take him to tracks that he will be seen by the big boys.
One thing a high school track coach that I worked under in Hawthorne did in the 90s. He use to take our top athletes to the Barney, Brad, Guy Memorial track meet in Las Vegas. That meet brought some of the top West Coast High Schools. It gave our kids a chance to compete against some of the best high school athletes on the West Coast. We were one of the smallest schools there. Yet we had one of our weight girls finish 3rd overall, our girls relay team finished 5th overall. The girl threw the shot put did end up getting a scholarship to college, because there were several college recruiters there.

Hope you had a awesome Sunday.
Today finally went better! No crying today as of yet & hopefully nothing will change that.
Church went great, dogs still doing the humpty hump, & I think that since things normally happen in 3's...hoping my sad days are behind me for now. I even got the kids signed up for 4H & Kaedon was given a nice pair of ladies roping boots for horseback lessons by the 4H leader. Ofcourse when we go to leave, since Karl & Kaedon were listening to music in the 4 Runner, I had a dead battery. Go figure!
The 4H leader was kind enough to give me a jump start & we made it back home just down the street & around the corner. Shortly after, Cammy came over to drop off 2 free end tables & a small indoor dog kennel for when Brie has her puppies! Have a blessed evening!
