Just like any exotic car of the 80's and 90's a love hate relationship, love it when it is running, hate it when it isn't. Have you tried the mechanic's favorite tool on it yet? (Hammer)

Donna, I would check with a meter or test light at the ignition swith. You said you didn't have lights or anything so look for fusible links between the battery and the fuse box and ignition also.

Goodmorning everyone,
Happy Sunday
Ive got a busy today. Church, a friends memorial service, 4H meeting with the kids, bake choc. chip cookies, weeding, dinner, then a music festival tonight at 6. Ugh...not enough hours in the day for all this ****.
on the plus side, yesterday Jimmy got my bike running. I swear if I didnt know any better, he disabled it so I wouldn't ride it until my foot was healed. Either that or maybe the contacts were dirty & the 3 days of rain cleaned them? We did have to add DOT4 brake fluid too, so maybe it has a brake fluid safety switch too or something?! Who knows...she's temperamental. I did finally get to take her around the block& go through some gears. Made it to 4th gear & was doing 70mph with 2 more gears to go. It corners like a dream, quiet & smooth, but its almost scary fast. I have to get used to her vs the ninja...night & day difference! I also put my new guardian bells on my bikes yesterday when I got home. I just hope its legal where i put them?!
Probably shouldve done that before the ride though. Lol

Glad you were able to finally ride your new bike. I am sure you will have a lot of fun with it in the future. Just be careful, sounds like it has enough power to get you in real trouble real fast.

Greg, did you see that there is a Dr. Who that will be playing on the big screen on June 16th and 17th? We bought tickets for the June 17th 7:30 showing.

Are things busy in Nevada this Weekend? Things here are really slow. Hardly anyone around. The river has some boaters but not as busy as most weekends. Businesses are slow, & I was surprised on my way back from Hawthorne Thursday night. The traffic was not near what I remember from past. Most people would take off Friday & Thursday night the traffic on 95 from Las Vegas north would be bumper to bumper. Once I got south of I-15 in Las Vegas the road was empty to Bullhead.
Did I miss something?

Took the dog to the river. He loved that. He is so ball crazy that the currents of the river don't even faze him. He is by far the strongest swimmer I have ever had.
So we had our bonding time.

oh...it does! Jimmy says its not as fast as my ninja (especially when the racing cam kicks in), but I noticed the difference right away. I can get in alot of trouble with my new bike...thats for sure! Lol

We rode (well, I didn't - I was the passenger) out to the Fernley Veterans Cemetery for their ceremony this morning. It was a great ride & the ceremony was beautiful.
