Nevada May BS Thread
Your more ambitious than me. I drank a cup of coffee & went up to the old mans table at our park & sat & BS with everybody. Tommy, my Service Dog was in 7th heaven when a little girl wanted to pet & lay all over him. He just hammed it up. The Mom got a few great pictures. He loves kids.
By the Jim is home & doing much better. I will see him in a few weeks when I head up to Hawthorne for a doctors appointment I have.
Michelle, are you working or just living the life of leisure?
Vici & I are building a home up in the Northern Arizona mountains not far from the Grand Canyon. We sold everything in Nevada & bought two parcels of land in the mountains. We hope to have all our final permits to build by fall. (our time frame, we could have them sooner but we are paying as we go so fall was our choice). We have all the septic, water, solar, & fencing in. We are building on 2.1 acres that backs up to the Kaibab National Forest. The other 2.4 acres are 22 miles west of where we are building.
We have one of our RVs on the build property & will spend summers up there.
Vici is teaching at a Charter School here in Bullhead City. We kind of have the best of both worlds a warm winter place & a cooler mountain summer retreat. The house will be built between the tank & shed.
I get back to Hawthorne every so often. My life long friend Jim still lives there. He is about the only one left. Hawthorne has about died sadly, it was a fun place to grow up & live at one time.
I have the motorcycle, and the S10, just waiting to get an address of the guy in Vegas, so I can deliver it. I will call Bill tomorrow and see if he has an address, but he usually texts me with it, and I have not received one yet.
Was hoping to leave by 6am, but that will not happen as it is 9:30 pm as I type this, and there is no way he will get the address between now, and 6am.Jim

Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
YEAH!...it's hump day Wednesday & the weekend is fast spproaching.

I have decided to chop all of my hair off again. The longer it gets, the more thin spots I get. Stress sucks & so does getting older! Atleast I look good with long or short hair, plus itll be cooler for summer.

Have a blessed day!
*Sorry for the sideways picture - stupid camera. Kaedon got to pet a wild mustang the other day. Pretty cool!
Actually, I was in a hurry to get back before 3pm so I could make it to the after school program, otherwise I would have made the side trip. Maybe when I go up to return the S10 and trailer, I can swing by. That would be cool. If we do meet in Silver Springs, don't forget to bring Kaedon so she can meet "Nighteyez" LOL.Here are some pics of the Harley.

Jim
I just choose to go up to Hawthorne for my twice a year check ups. It is easier & I like my doctor I was her track coach in High School, have known her mom & dad for years. It gives me an excuse to visit Jim & a few friends left up there. Plus I get to cruise my Crown Vic up there.(I'm on retirement time)
So it is just a routine check up. I feel great. Plus Dr Fry from the Tahoe Clinic comes to Hawthorne & he will be giving me injections in my knees. (Rooster Crown) The last injections worked for about 10 months. I actually think they feel better than last year at this time.
That's a great area Craig! It will be a nice getaway from the summer heat. I'm still working, not in San Diego anymore but here in town, I do property maintenance for a local real estate office, a handy man or handy 'chick' if you will lol.
Donna I vote for the short hair, the long look just isn't you!
Michelle, that should be a great business in Fallon with the military in & out moves etc. Working on the road is hard married or single. I did it both ways & never really liked it. I know you did your share also.
Best of Luck you should do very well.
