Yeah, that sounds like the perfect truck. However, it would not be cost effective to sell this one and get that one. At this point in time, I need to work with what I have. When I am making a steady income, then I will put some aside to buy a diesel powered truck to improve my profit margin, but for now, things are just too tight.
Welcome to FTE & the NV BS Thread. I'm glad you made it... Thanks!
It' sounds like you need a Guardian/Spirit bell for your truck. LOL!
I have an electrical issue with my newer motorcycle, so I can relate to having to chasing down the problem & what a hassle it can be.
I hope you figure out what the problem is soon, then if you know anything about bikes, you can come help me.
Good morning all. My name's Chris and I've been in Nevada for just over a year. I retired from the Air Force last May after nearly 24 years in. Now I'm working part time at FedEx and fixing up my first Ford truck, an '83 F350 Crewcab dually. I'm chasing electrical gremlins right now so if y'all have a good wiring diagram or know where I can snag one please let me know.
Welcome aboard Chris. Welcome to FTE and welcome to Nevada.
Where did you locate yourself in Nevada?
I'm up at Tahoe.
Good luck with your F350. Do you have electrical experience?
Yeah, it's Thursday! One more day until the weekend starts.
I can hardly wait. What are your plans for the weekend?
I don't think we're doing much of anything. We might go on a ride out to Fernleys Memorial Cemetery for their ceremony & then home for a BBQ. Other than that, nothing!
No plans except for church on Sunday. Might get some work done on the trailer (wire up the lights, and breakaway box) Maybe even start looking for the electrical gremlins in the truck that are keeping some of the side marker lights from working.

Again...welcome aboard
Thank you. I've fixed my starter wiring issue and figured out I have a bad turn signal switch which is now out and waitin' on a replacement.
I ride an '07 Yamaha 650 VStar Silverado myself.

I'm in Henderson right now and looking for a house currently.
Yes I have electrical, pretty much all self taught from all the vehicles I've owned and reading Chilton manuals as a kid. Sometimes all the experience in the world doesn't feel like it's worth a hoot when working on a 30+ year old vehicle though.

Got most of my interior back in the truck. Still have the front bench and dash out while I finish up the wiring checks. Picked up new axle flange gaskets, heater hose, upper rad hose, and a thermostat housing to replace the cruddy old one.
Morning everyone. I hope you are all having a wonderful day.
Welcome Trackerrrr. Looks like you are in the Henderson area. The family and I just move from close to there to the Summerlin area. Maybe we will find ourselves meeting someday. Good luck with the truck.

Wanna come figure out why only some of the lights on my bike work next? Lol

Sweet ride! I almost got one of those in a 2011 version instead of "Flamen" (yes, I name my vehicles). I almost wish I had!
I'll probably trade out bikes & put Flamen in the shed and bring Yummy out. May even go for a ride now that my foots out of the aircast...maybe! Then, throughout the day-until I meet Jimmy for shopping, im going to make our cats life hell for getting me up at 3 am! Meow, meow, scratch, scratch...im bored, come keep me company or feed me...Scratch meow! GRR! I'll show him!! Hope you enjoy water & dont even think of trying to sleep today...@%#!@%#! Time to refill the spray bottle. He'll be so tired by tonight, hopefully he'll sleep through the night.
