Good Morning Everybody!

Bob, when I got Ka'Bluey, he had NO weatherstripping around the doors and this past winter was COLD, so I put the weather strip in from the truck I scrapped. ...I told you he had a hard year without you.

I did just buy 4 new ball joints and new axle u-joints for him. After they go in, the chassis is completely rebuilt and ready to rock again. A new set of tires and he'll drive down the road like a brand new truck with zero wander in the front end.

Jeff. I should be there, but maybe a few minutes late. I have to stop at the bank first. Actually, just wait until the AM. That way I can have Bandit closer to the door and we can just put the bed straight on him, instead of having to handle it twice. We should be able to drop the hood on there too, while I have you there.

I wish my girls were more into hotrods, but at least Kasie like to 4 wheel, so maybe I can get her in the monster truck for a few mud bogs.

Morning all,

Put the steering rack in my dad's Dakota last night, I'm super stiff and sore today. Spent 45 minutes kneeling on the bumper leaning over the engine trying to get the lines off and then back on turning the nuts 1/16 at a time. Absolutely no room to maneuver or see what was happening. His is 4wd, the 2wd would have been a breeze.

Counting down the minutes at work now, taking a mini vacation this weekend, and my boss surprised me this morning and told me I didn't have to come in tomorrow at all.

Afternoon All!

Just in for lunch. Well, I got the boss talked in to putting the 302 Back in the Capri. Even the 302 appears to be a super low mile engine. (less than 10K if I had to guess), so I'm gonna make it pretty and detail it up, then stick it back in. After some research, he was still $800-$1,000 away from getting the 351W in there. Now he's upset he wasted the money on labor. .....that's what you get for researching something before you jump in with both feet. I just can't imagine why he's running out of money.

bob that would be useful as a deterrent to bad behavior for a few teens i know...

well i only worked 6hrs today the old foot is still not back 100% yet.. i was glad to hear from rich and jeff while they were out on their adventures... they came across a grille that was already out of the truck, so i told rich to grab it and drop it off at "performance auto". that will give me a good excuse to drop in on alan, to see how he is getting along...

Not much new here. Have to laugh at some of the stuff I hear on the (bus) radio. Last week someone couldn't get to some kids, they were TRYING to pronounce the street name. First time it was "OrEon" like Oreo cookies, then it was Oron. Finally somebody got on & said "It's OrIon, you know, like the constellation"? Then we had one this afternoon, "Yeah, I'm gonna be late. They had an accident, a pedestrian on a motorcycle got hit & they're laying on the ground". ???? A pedestrian is someone ON FOOT, DUH!! A motorcycle rider is NOT a pedestrian, hello????? Sometimes wonder about this place, MORE THAN USUAL!!!! Just think, THIS is what you have transporting your kids! Maybe I'm being too hard on them, but stuff like that just seems so ridiculous to me, Oron street, a pedestrian on a motorcycle. I ain't paid a whole lotta attention in school, I admit it. That just seems basic almost kiddiegarden stuff to me! Okay, rant over (for now, anyway). Been feeling like f.m. all week. Felt it starting Sun. night as I was going to sleep. Woke up Moanday A.M., mouth breathing because it was the only way I could get any air, head pounding, gut felt like it wanted to call Raaaaaalllfffff to drive the porcelain buuuueeeeeeeekkkk bus, dizzy/light headed. Went in & did my A.M. route (against my better judgement), tried to tell dispatch I wasn't coming back for my afternoon route & she gives me the usual "I don't have anybody to cover your route". Too bad, I'm not gonna be here. So then it's like "What's wrong"? So tempted to say, lemme breathe on you & you can find out for yourself in a couple days. Called in Tues. A.M., & am scheduled off Wed. (special kids, different schedule). Tonight, I'm STARTING TO feel a little civilized. Almost finished a box of Alka-Seltzer Plus, but I think the stuff helps. Sorry, I said 'rant over' didn't I? Anyhow, hope all y'all have a good weekend. They're talking more nasty weather POSSIBLE this weekend. Everybody stay dry & safe.

Rich, thanks for the company, I had a lot of fun today. Got way more than I expected, but I'm happy with all my purchases.

Seat belts, seat, inner fenders, door panels, bed tool box, extra gas door, RC's grill, some wiring for Bandit for the alternator, and vent stuff for Red.

[IMG][/IMG]

I also saw his new red paint and fell in love with it. Beautiful paint.
