At least someone is having more success than I am getting stuff running. I spent the majority of the yesterday working on the riding lawnmower and I still can't mow the lawn. I got the engine running fairly quick, but then I had a idler pulleys fail on the deck and on the main drive. After running darn near everywhere local trying to find them I discover that the drive idler has been discontinued and the deck pulley is not stocked anywhere because of its age. Joy... Now I need to make up my mind as to whether I pony up the bucks for a new mower or continue to beat my head against the wall with this one...

well i am still hobbling around but did get to the shop and got a little bit done on the 71.. had my helper for most of the day..when i left he was getting brackets cleaned and painted..so maybe tomorrow it will look more like i got a little done.. if my bearing comes in tomorrow i can get the rear end buttoned up completely i dug around my spare parts.. i have 6 ford starters but not a single one for a standard with my size flywheel....
... may have to buy one i guess

Alan, sorry I got called into an issue at work. Didn't have to go in, but it was a by the phone type of all day thing...and now I'm getting ready to go in...Urgg! Anyway, I'm excited to hear of the progress on Bandit. I will most likely be there tomorrow night. Let me know if your going to be at the shop all day or if it will be Luke regular at 1730 or so.
