GPCM
Will this part going bad cause rough "cold" starts? My truck doesnt fire as it should. And the only code im getting is P0683 meaning that the communication to the PCM from the GPCM is broken. I checked wiring harness and that seems all good. Soooo im thinking ill be replacing GPCM

Yes but not very often, double check the two connection the plastic clip brakes real easy and the connection will work back out, I had to zip tie mine
