Unhappy do i sell or keep

hi everyone i just bought 86 f150 with problems i was wondering can i take the emissions and the feed back system off and install aftermarket parts also i do need the complete wiring harness color code

You need to read your state and federal laws before we can make that determination regarding the emissions equipment. My 250 is an 81, which does not require emissions in Texas, but does in California. Also, once we know what stays and what goes we can give better guidance on the wiring.

carb distributor and all sensors i live in sc and as long as i do the work myself i think that i can do the conversion planning on putting a offenhauser intake a holley 4 bbl a vacume advance mallory distributor a mad super coil headers and custom gauges

my truck at on time came fully loaded but now all i have is a engine and a hacked up wiring harness the plugs for the sensors have been cut off and the vacume lines have been melted shut i do not have an ac heat at all and the fuse block has been messed with cause it has melted

im assuming that if i could get the color codes i can rebuild the factory harness to suit my needs

Just did all that on my '84 You can remove the complete wiring harness that comes from the "computer" (removed that too) got 3 wires coming from the dash, Oil, Temp, Tach, and 1 for ignition. That's it.

we just did the same on the uncles 84 f250 with a 351
