Experience with Autogauge?

Does anybody have any experience with Autogage brand gauges?? I'm looking at a mechanical oil and electric water temp gauges:

ATM-2332: AutoGage Black/Black Mechanical Engine Pressure Gauge | Auto Meter Gauges | eBuggies.com

ATM-2333: AutoGage Black/Black Electrical Engine Temperature Gauge | Auto Meter Gauges | eBuggies.com

mostly because they are relatively cheap, but Autometer typically has a good name? What do you guys think of them. The junk Summit brand gauges I bought a while back have had it. Isspro and Autometer are nice but not in my budget right now.

im not sure about the brand but something to consider;
running oil in the cab isn't the best of idea's.you may want to consider going electric for that one.
when it comes to water temp,iv noticed under hood temps can play tricks on the electrical sending units.you may want to consider going with a mechanical for this one.

I agree, I don't like the idea of running an oil line like that, especially the cheap looking clear "plastic" ones they send. Unfortunately most of the cheaper options, especially full sweep gauges, are all mechanical. I'm also not sure a mechanical water temp capillary will reach from the front of the engine to the gauge pod on the dash?

I keep looking at the Isspro but a water temp, oil psi and pyro are going to be over $500 by time I get them up here in Canada.

I had originally placed an order with Glowshift however they are giving me all kinds of grief since I have an "international" credit card....

I have a set of Autogage mini tripple electrical in my 68 C20 and they are junk. You have to unhook the coolant sensor anytime you reconnect the battery or you will blow it. When I first bought them one of the gauges (coolant) wouldn't read so Jegs just sent me a whole new gauge pod and told me to keep the old ones. My oil press. always read low 8 psi. always thought it was the engine. Awhile back I decided to replace the oil press. and volts cause the were faded with my other set and now my oil press. reads 25 psi. I have a set of Sunpro StyleLine electrical gauges I got off Amazon for my 87 F250. I only have the coolant installed now but I haven't had any problems with it.
Amazon.com: Sunpro CP8211 StyleLine Electrical Water/Oil Temperature Gauge - Black Dial: Automotive Amazon.com: Sunpro CP8211 StyleLine Electrical Water/Oil Temperature Gauge - Black Dial: Automotive

I just went with the cheap Ebay digital gauges:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Car-Auto-Black-2-52mm-Blue-Digital-LED-F-Water-Temp-Temperature-Gauge-SL-/321288679368?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4ace4c2fc8&vxp=mtrI've gotten two of this type, and have been using them for a good year and a half:
My water temp gauge works flawlessly(only downside: it won't read under 104F no matter what).
My Oil Pressure gauge works mostly fine, though a solder joint failed and the 10's place digit won't light up unless I press the back.

Accuracy wise, they seem to be plenty accurate; measuring up to everything else I see.

And I figure that for $20, I'm willing to deal with some problems -- it's worth it to just buy a new one if it fails, not to worry.

And you can always use it as a temporary solution until you can replace it with a *good* one later.

Well good news, hopefully. Glowshift has finally decided to ship my gauges without me having to e-mail copies of my credit card and drivers license. (After already charging my card.) Anyway, after numerous e-mails all is well. Now I just hope they work reasonably well.

Thanks to everyone for the feedback.
